I love Smartbran cereal. I used to buy it at Hannaford's grocery store. They still have plenty of Nature s Path cereal but do not carry Smartbran anymore. I do not like bran cereal- I have tried them all! This is the only bran cereal I like and my mother-in-law , who is 90 and lives with us likes it as well. I have to order the cereal on-line now, That is how much I like this cereal. It is is good for you. I would like a little less sugar added but otherwise it is perfect.
Smart bran cereal is the BEST; keeps you regular that's for sure; I add some yogurt, fruit, a bit of milk and eat it every day and BINGO it works - 13 g of fiber per 1/2 cup. Whole Foods did not have it on the shelf and no shelf ticket april 10; I am worried!!! don't you ever stop making it.......... Ursula
We enjoy this product daily in our home. Problem: We find the sugar content more that we would prefer. 6 gm in only 1/2 c. seems high. Funny thing, in general, although Nature's Path cereals are plentiful in our area, Smart Bran is often hard to find. Not every store carries it. The price varies considerably, as well: sometimes it can be found for $4.99; other times between $5.49 - $5.99. Suggestion: Make doctors aware of this product. Many seem to recommend "Bran Buds" for healthy digestion. Smart Bran is a better option, we believe.
