Qi'a™ Superfood - Chia, Buckwheat & Hemp Cereal Cranberry Vanilla
This stuff is so good! I found it at one or our local grocery stores-Campbell's Nutrition. I have it every morning with coconut milk. Best breakfast EVER :)
I LOVE this cereal! I am a registered dietitian and I have been recommending it to my clients. I love that it's organic and non-GMO with no added fat or sugars. Great nutritional profile of good fats, fiber, and protein. I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked it from the shelf at my local natural foods store, but I'm so glad that I did. It's my perfect staple for breakfast now about an hour before working out, it gives me energy for my workout without making me feel too full or weighed down. I have it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and it's delicious. Love this brand, love this product! It's rare that I recommend a packaged product to my clients, but this one is a perfect 10 - keep up the great work!!! :)
I saw this in my local grocery store and was a bit skeptical at first. After all, the nutrition sizes were based on 2 TBSP of cereal, and I've never eaten just 2 TBSP of cereal and had my appetite sated. I figured it was one of those scenarios where the manufacturer made a very small serving size that wasn't true to what an actual person would consume. Not true! I wasn't taking into account the chia seeds and how the expand. I just put the milk in, wait a few minutes, and the cereal gets pretty thick by the time I'm ready to start eating it. It's amazing how satisfying 2 TBSP of cereal with a few tablespoons of milk can be. I haven't tried the original formula yet -- just the cranberry and apple cinnamon, but I love the two flavored ones. The cranberry is definitely my favorite. I was surprised by how sweet it was -- perhaps also because I use 1 TBSP coconut milk to 3 TBSP amond milk, but it does satisfy my sweet craving. It's become my breakfast food of choice.
