Okay so what the flax seeds are whole, if you don't like it don't buy it! The fact that the flax seeds are not ground does not negate all the rest of the health benefits. It tastes amazing, it gives me energy, its organic, nutritious and the kids love it, that's what matters! Great job Nature's Path.
The cereal uses WHOLE flax seeds. Flax seeds are nutritionally useless and INDIGESTIBLE unless they are finely ground or milled. So the ALA and more importantly the very healthy lingins are only available if the product uses GROUND FLAX. The cereal tastes fine, but if you are pushing it as a health food, then those flax seeds need to be ground up.
