I really want to like this, but even at 4 g sugar per serving it is just too sweet for me. I hope they will make a less sweet version that tastes more like grains that I would be able to use to top casseroles, etc. Even just as a cold cereal it tastes like it is a sugar cereal.
I was previously buying Nature's Path Heritage Flakes and recently ran out. I saw they had gotten in Mesa Sunrise so I decided to try it out. Both taste great but this has a more distinctive flavor to it. The basic trade-off between this and heritage flakes is 2g less fiber but much more Omega-3 ALA.
I have it for breakfast and whenever I'm in need of some gluten-free crunchy and not too sweet snack!
