I found an Eco Pac of Heritage Flakes at Walmarts on a bottom shelf of the cereal aisle. It deserves top billing and I plan to tell Walmart & other local retailers that, and to ask that they carry more of the companies products! Absolutely my favorite cereal (at least until I try some of their other offerings). I agree with other comments re: doesn't get soggy, just the right amount of sweetness, etc. I'd be willing to try an unsweetened version as well. I've emailed friends to recommend it and "liked" it on Facebook. This company deserves support. I was astounded at the data on the package regarding annual savings from Eco-Packaging. If Wal-Mart and, large retailers, consumers and even EPA began pressuring for more such packaging, think of the savings to the environment!
They taste great and it seems like a small amount of milk sticks to the outside of the flakes, but isn't really absorbed so they're not soggy. I was looking for a sugar-free/low-sugar alternative to what I had and I found a big bag of this on the bottom shelf. It was a gamble to buy to see if I'd like it but it was worth it; this is now my main cereal
I absolutely love this cereal! I have been trying to cut out wheat, but since this has nonGMO wheat, I figured it would be OK for the third phase of the diet I am following (Fast Metabolism Diet). My favorite way to eat it is with sliced peaches, almond milk and a sprinkle of chopped pecans.
