This was my first time buying this brand, and the first cereal I tried was the Raisin Bran Flax Plus. It's great tasting and has a good intake of fiber, but there is not a lot if raisins in this cereal. I will try another cereal next time, but I will be back to the Raisin Bran and hope there will be more raisins the next time I try. The cereal is still good, even without the raisins... I'd still purchase it.
I bought this cereal yesterday because it's been a long time since I've had raisin bran, we've loved your company's other cereals and I'm looking to increase my fiber intake in healthy ways. I poured a bowl of cereal and found 1 raisin. Wow. I thought they must have fallen to the bottom of the box so I shook it up several times. I think maybe there are about 5 raisins (1 per serving?) in the entire box. This cereal is incredibly good, perfectly seasoned, stands up really great in milk but it is NOT raisin bran. Put more raisins in this and I'll give it 5 stars. As they say, misery loves company. I was actually relieved to see I didn't just get a dud box and that there are lots of complaints about the raisins, or lack thereof.
I've been a fan of Natures' path cereals for several years now. I bought a box of Flax Plus Raisin Bran to try the other day. I poured a bowl, and there were maybe 3 raisins in the whole bowl. I thought maybe the raisins had settled to the bottom of the box, so I took out the inner bag, to look. There wasn't even a tablespoon of raisins in the entire box! Not good. : (
